I remember the first time I booked a healing for an Akashic Records Reading. I was nervous and excited, but mostly curious. I felt drawn to the records without even understanding what they were or how they could help me.
One of the first things the healer told me during our session was that I was meant to read the records and that I did this naturally.
This knowledge gave me the confirmation I was unconsciously needing to lead me down a path of eventually becoming an Akashic Records Healer. I have a wide variety of healing tools that I’m able to wield but the Akashic Records remain my favorite and in this blog I’ll tell you why.

I like to describe the records as a big library in the sky that contains all the records of everything that has ever happened or ever will happen. It’s endless information that is hand selected for you to receive from your very own spirit team.
Everyone has a spirit team or a group of guides that are here to support you in your journey back to wholeness. They consist of guides, spirits, elementals, angels, beings of light, ascended masters, teachers, loved ones and other light beings.
These beings serve as sort of a board of advisors who know the end game and can see the big picture for your life. They do not make executive decisions on your behalf but serve more as consultants allowing you to receive guidance to make informed decisions.
Our guides are always with us and doing their best to help guide us in our life, but when you access the Akashic Records, you get a direct connection to them.

One of the things that I have grown to love about the Akashic Records is the perspective that they offer. A Course in Miracles calls a miracle a shift in perspective.
I get to witness these miracles over and over during these sessions because often that is the best gift your guides can offer you.
The other day my husband was stressing out about a scenario that was out of his control. He left our home feeling extremely anxious and triggered but returned with a much calmer and relaxed demeanor. He informed me that he was thinking about the situation, and he chose to see it differently. Now the problem doesn’t seem like a problem at all anymore.
In this example, nothing actually changed in the real world but something dramatic changed within my husband. If you have ever felt the pain of anxiety in your life, you know the value of feeling peace and comfort.
This is a wonderful example of the type of shifts that can happen in the records.
Beyond a shift in perspective, the records offer all sorts of healing opportunities. You can heal ancestral & generational patterns, karmic patterns, past life wounds, emotional & physical issues, heart walls, cord cutting, inner child healing, etc. The possibilities are endless and the healing opportunities are vast!
One of the many things I love about the records is the impact. As a mom and business owner, I’m all about efficiency and in the records things can happen fast and make a huge impact.
The Akashic Records exist in the quantum field. Simply accessing this field and opening your records will offer instant healing as the high vibration of this field allows for immediate shifts.
An Akashic Record Reader serves as a medium to connect you with your guides. Using their intuition, the reader channels whatever guidance, healing, or activations that wants to come through.
All the messages are meant for the sitter (the person receiving the reading/healing) and the signs will have special significance to them. It’s almost like each group of guides has their own unique language that the sitter understands better than anyone else. Thus, it’s important that you, as the receiver, use your own intuition to help interpret the messages coming through.
Each Healer is unique and the guides know their unique skills and abilities. They may call upon the Healer to assist them in energetic healing. Because it is happening in the quantum field, the healing work is profound, fast, and impactful.
Akashic Records sessions are like other intuitive energy healing sessions with the main difference being the level of connection and vibration that exists for the Akashic Records is very high. If you are a sensitive being, you may even feel a buzzing or tingling sensation in your body.

Each Reader/Healer have their own unique way of accessing the records but they are typically opened with a prayer indicating the soul whose records you wish to access. After the reading is complete, another prayer is said to officially close the records.
Any time you do intuitive readings, energy healing, body work, or any activity that allows you to deeply relax and open up, it’s crucial that energetic protection is in place. For Akashic Records – there is often protection encoded within the opening prayer, but I like to provide several additional layers of energy protection for my clients. This ensures that they are only receiving guidance and healing of the highest light for the highest good.
Without protection in place you are vulnerable to foreign energy (and sometimes dark energy) to sneak into your energetic field. Foreign entities can cause all kinds of issues from physical pain to mental and emotional burdens. A gifted healer (like myself) can remove them, but it is best to use protection. ;)
Once you are grounded and protected, you are ready to connect. After the prayer is complete and the records are open, the fun part begins!
As an Intuitive Reader, I like to let my client’s guides begin with sharing whatever they feel is most relevant. Prior to the session, I ask my clients to set intentions for their healing. This gives a sort of order/request form to their guides so that their aid has direction.
There is so much they have to share and they are often so excited to finally connect that having a list of prioritize to discuss is really helpful. I like to recommend setting 3-5 intentions on what you would like to receive during the session. In addition, I recommend coming prepared with a list of questions to ask (if time permits).
You can ask any question you can think of in the Akashic Records but I have discovered that asking the right questions in the right way are most impactful. In general, you want to ensure your questions are open ended. Do not ask yes or no questions – they simply will not answer them, because the answers are not that simple.
