How to Play Middle School Icebreaker Bingo

A fun middle school getting-to-know-you activity that is easy to set up for the first day of school, club meeting or classroom teambuilding, or other group gathering.

Materials

• Writing Utensil like pen or pencil
• Free Middle School People Bingo Printable

Instructions

Decide how Bingo will be determined. This can be by getting 5 in a row (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally), blackout bingo filling up all squares of the card, 2 rows, or some other variation.

When the game starts, individuals get up and interact with others, introducing themselves and asking questions to find someone who can sign off on one of the items on their bingo card. Each person should sign only one square per card, unless there are not enough participants to each sign a single square.

Content and/or features: This middle school human bingo game contains a 5x5 grid with a free space in the center.

There are 24 getting-to-know-you middle school ice breaker questions that players can sign off on including:

• Has a last name with at least 7 letters in it
• Has an older brother or sister
• Has never been on an airplane
• Likes breakfast more than dinner
• Is born in the same month as you
• Is wearing red
• Favorite color is blue
• Gets up before 6:30am
• Can do 14 x 12 in their head
• Can say the alphabet backwards
• Has 2 or more siblings
• Read at least one book over break
• Can sing
• Loves desserts
• Can swim
• Has a passport
• Can name the colors of the rainbow in order
• Favorite food is not pizza or ice cream
• Likes action movies
• Likes one of the same songs as you
• Knows how to use chopsticks
• Favorite holiday is in the second half of the year
• Knows how to ice skate
• Can name at least 4 continents
